We met Petra right outside of the gallery where the exposition of Irving Penn took place. We could not miss out on such a unique and stylish appearance. Petra is an architect who runs a well-known studio for stained glass and mosaic that has been running for 170 years and operates worldwide. "Our website is totally outdated but see our Instagram & Facebook and you get a glimpse of who we are and what we do", she told us that she admires great craftsmanship and exquisite materials, sustainability, vintage, inherited items, beloved pieces for the next generation, bespoke items and that she's always in a hurry... with that much passion, there's a lot to fit in! @mayerofmunich

Alexandra likes her music and she loves to dance just as much; she explained that she has been dancing since she was 6 years old in various styles like ballet, hip-hop, dancehall and house dance. When she's not working her moves she works as a project manager and coordinates different German classes for people from around the world. "It´s amazing to work with so many interesting people as they come here without speaking any words and leave the school being able to have a proper conversation with me." she told us. Psychologist Wayne Dyer said, "When you dance, your purpose is not to get to a certain place on the floor. It's to enjoy each step along the way." Sounds like Alexandra achieves this both in her work and her hobbies. When it comes to her preference for clothes she likes sporty casual outfits that feel comfy and ready for the next dance move!

Challenge is a busy guy, but we saw him in Berlin looking relaxed in black listening to music on his Beats headphones. He's a dancer and performer from Zimbabwe, but he's been living in Berlin since 2006. "I love to travel with my job; I see a lot of different places. I would define my style as Simple, Elegant and Sophisticated". Secretly he's also got a fashion enterprise. " I also have a webshop called Energetix selling Men and Women´s Jewelry, of exclusive magnetic designs. Be it bracelets, rings, necklaces, watches or earrings - and we also sell wellness products! We all should take care not only of our style and beauty but also be aware of our wellness I believe." Challenge may have lots going on, but he seems to take care of himself inside and out. You're looking good for it Challenge! @challengeg

Valeria comes from Bulgaria, but she has been living in Berlin, Germany for the past three years. "I moved here to study and live in a boarding school when I was 15, and the city completely blew my mind away,' she said. She told us that Berlin never stops amazing her and even after walking through the same streets for the third year she still manages to discover new things about them. She's working on some projects that exclude school environment and work - including the graphics of a game that a friend has programmed. They're planning to release it soon so watch out! And as for her style, "I believe that the most important aspect when choosing an outfit is to feel so comfortable and happy with it, that no one can change your mind about how you decide to express yourself." We love Valeria's passion for life and assured sense of self. In the words of Robert Frost: 'Two roads diverged in the wood, and I took the one less travelled by, and that has made all the difference!' We hope Valeria stays true to herself; we predict she'll go far! @valy_rog

We spotted Luisa in Berlin. She's a self-confessed fashion victim in her free time and a medical student by day. Her friends call her Lui, and she told us that since she was a small girl, she was in contact with fashion on a daily basis. Fashion and the latest trends were the usual dinner table conversation with her family and friends; she loves how it can give you the power to be whoever you want and the possibility to be creative every day. Luisa loves how it excites the senses and is open to so many different interpretations. Coco Chanel said “The most courageous act is still to think for yourself. Aloud.” Luisa may call her self a fashion victim, but we think she's channelling Coco! @_lui_7

We met Yutian when she was on her way to LEGO store in Berlin. We loved the way she playfully combined patterns, and the layered detailing on the sleeves of her Zara top caught our eyes. Yutian is currently studying in Berlin and loves to take time out to do photography in her spare time. Her style is dictated partly by the need to cover up and partly for safety. She told us, 'I wore the hat to cover my messy hair, and the backpack is on the front in case someone steals my stuff!' She describes her style as simple and comfortable. She may be cautious in life, but she's a style risk taker! @__alicezheng__

Lorenzo was swishing through the streets of Berlin when we spotted him. He’s originally from Venice but moved to Berlin in September 2016 to start his modelling career. Lorenzo appreciates how modelling gives him the opportunity to see different and amazing places. He loves coffee and shopping, and it’s apparent in his clothes that he likes to express himself through his style ‘and through my charisma’, he says. His style recipe is to mix crazy pieces with everyday things. As for the palette, he loves black and white. On this occasion, he chose to wear a white shirt and black trousers, based on the silhouette that they created. Then he decided to add extra shape and colour with the kimono jacket. For Lorenzo, boots are a must whatever the season and his motto in life is ‘Le Freak C’est Chic! Nile Rogers coined the famous line with his band Chic who were invited to Studio 54 by Grace Jones. When the doorman denied them access, they thought it was crazy, as their songs regularly played in the club. And so one of the most memorable disco tunes was created, for all the underdogs, individuals, the people who want to stand out or just be themselves, including Lorenzo, this tune is for you, continue being true to you, that's what makes life interesting! @iamlorenzoboscardin

We discovered Annika walking around the eclectic Schoneberg district of Berlin. It is filled with cafe-lined streets, quirky galleries and Turkish eateries and is home to a diverse community. We were struck by Annika's chessboard top which echoed the cobblestoned pavement. There was something retro in her look, like a Fassbinder muse, she exuded mystery. Annika is as vibrant as the neighbourhood in which she lives. She told us that she's passionate about analogue photography and loves to design and create furniture. She's been in Berlin for four years and comes from a small village in Northern Italy that borders Austria. Her first language was German, but she had to learn Italian to attend school. Annika has many facets; we wonder what her next move will be, check-mate perhaps?! @anni_kina
