Milton is a non-conformist, he likes brands and style that breaks away from the norms. His look on this occasion was all about comfort courtesy of Rick Owens where he works in sales and merchandising. He was in Soho enjoying the sun whilst waiting for his girlfriend and he explained that it's an area that he will always love, we're sure he feels the same about her! When asked about wearing all black on such a hot day he said, "you gotta do what you gotta do." Go for it Milton, we love a rebel!

Indigo was making a statement in Soho on her way to a photoshoot with a friend. Her general style is described as eclectic and that she is, in this outfit by Dollskill, we love those vertiginous platforms! The brand describes their look as an active subversion of the fashion industries "norm" and invite their customers to unleash their inner riot girl'! When asked about today's look, Indigo said it depends on the day and today she felt out of this world. Social and political activist Abbie Hoffman said, “The first duty of a revolutionary is to get away with it.” That takes confidence and Indigo has it in abundance! @indigoxsummer

Alyssa was spotted in Soho, while we were photographing her we realised that her companion was actually her twin, so Alexandra jumped into the shot as well. They are from Los Angeles out and about taking pictures and shopping. And of course, beautiful cobbled Soho on the lower east side is the perfect place. The ladies told us that they love the fashion and the vibes there. They also have a penchant for streetwear, which they work very well! They were definitely double trouble, in the best possible way of course! @alyssapurrez

Versace did it, Marc Jacobs did it and so did Gucci - a pink suit that is! It's a trend we're seeing on the streets like this pastel version as worn by Elijah. She was off to a 4th of July party and was obviously more into softer shades that cut through the red white and blue. For Elijah it's not about the brand, it's about wearing colourful and tropical colours that remind her of her home in Puerto Rico. She's been in New York for a year working as a sales associate at Schutz the shoe store. But the tropics are beckoning and she's planning to return soon. No wonder because this Caribbean island is famous for its beaches all 270 miles of them. Well Elijah, if you can't take the people to Puerto Rico...! @_elijahrodriguez

Raised in London, model Grace was in NYC for work. She was taking a break and heading out to sample some NY food. When we asked her about her outfit she replied, " this is literally what I wore to sleep last night!" Grace travels light; there's nothing like a minimalist wardrobe and it's good for the environment too! Her look is otherwise inspired by her love of punk rock, it must be those London roots! She customised her Doc Martens to resemble a pair of YSLs. So basically she has the knack of pulling off a stunning look whether she's slept in it or painted it herself, totally punk rock! @gracesumm

We spotted Christine while she was out shopping in Soho. Christine is a student visiting from LA; she loves New York’s fashionable shopping destinations. Her favourite brand is Rag & Bone. Accustomed to the warm West Coast weather and fearful of New York’s seasonal chilliness, she assumed it would be very cold that day. Instead, the sun was shining brighter than ever and, although Christine was very hot, she refused to take off her jacket as it was essential to her outfit. As she put it, “that’s sometimes the price we pay for fashion”. Christine loves using her style to express herself and to show off her personality; to us, this outfit shows that nothing will affect Christine’s mindset or the way she chooses to dress, not even the weather! @itschristine.gzx

We noticed Keely in that beautiful, long, elegant white dress walking around Soho. We love the yellow shoulder bag which popped against her outfit and she added a bit of edge with her Doc Martens! She was shopping that day, searching perhaps for some fashion inspiration at one of her favourite stores: The Kooples or Zadig & Voltaire. Keely is praying that the current long dress craze is more than just a trend so that she can keep wearing them indefinitely. We hope so too Keely as you look stunning in them! @keely1024

India was on her way to get her haircut when we met her. She's a model who's originally from Detroit and that she said, "gives her attitude" which definitely translates to her style! She was sporting nothing but Victoria's Secret bra paired with cargos topped off with a little bit of luxury in the shape of her Louis Vuitton bag, she's a big fan of the brand and likewise, I'm sure they would be a fan of her look, in fact, we are not sure of many that wouldn't! @igeeeeezy

Model and Designer Damiano was walking down the middle of the street like he owned the world! He had his hood up and the new Kanye album on. He likes fashion and doesn't wear sneakers, the shoes make for a good contrast with the Vetements hoodie. Damiano explained that his entire family have always been interested in fashion. One of them donated their vintage LV clutch to him and we think it's all in a good cause because half of style is attitude and Damiano has it in abundance!

Kirk was mixing business and pleasure when we met him; he had just come from a meeting and was on his way to the game shop! Despite being in Soho, he doesn't like it "because it has become too busy and there are tourists everywhere", he said. He's a recent graduate currently self-employed as a producer/photographer. As for style, he loves Dior and Commes des Garcon. We discussed being i-generation - being an immigrant and making the most out of being in America. He is young but we felt that he had an old soul. But enough of the deep-chat; we let him head off to the game shop to play! @blanclies
