We crossed paths with Lorena and Dyna, in ‘Parcours Saint-Germain’ in Paris. They are best friends, and both are very involved in the fashion world. Lorena is a contributor to Vogue Mexico and Latam and loves to travel. She shares her journey with her Instagram followers on her account @lvbespoke. Dyna, however, prefers to stay private and is very discreet. Although the two friends seem to differ in personality, they have equally good taste in clothing and are very passionate about fashion. We love their colourful outfits and lovely smiles! @lorevergani

We caught up with Ap on a Sunday while she was going shopping around east London. She told us that she has just finished her foundation course at Central Saint Martins and the next step is to start her BA in fine art. Of her style, she told us she likes the androgynous look. June singer said, "Androgyny is not trying to manage the relationship between the opposites; it is simply flowing between them." We love Ap's dynamic dress sense, double the looks, double the fun!

We were struck by Elise's checked coat by Sinéquane on Rue Saint Guillaume in Paris. She explained that she’s doing an internship as a model maker with Ines de la Fressange the French model, aristocrat, style icon, fashion designer and perfumer who also happened to be Karl Lagerfeld's muse at Chanel and who walked the catwalk for Gaultier at age 51. What a role model, no pressure then?! Elise is learning from the best!

Elise had just finished a photoshoot when we caught up with her on Oxford street. She is from Belgium but has been living in London for many years. She moved here to study but didn’t leave because she loves it so much speaking animatedly of the city's pace, the 24-hour options, the gigs and the art galleries. Elise does go back to Belgium periodically but can’t wait to get back to the buzz of her current home. Her shoot was for her new promotional material as a spoken word artist and singer. She loves 90’s indie bands and recently went on tour with the Libertines. Elise seems drawn to rebellion in all of its forms. Her favourite writer is Anaïs Nin famed for her diaries, journals and erotic literature while punk, leather jackets and rock 'n roll, influence her style. Even when the weather is good, she says she likes to be in a summery shade of black, Elise; you wear it well! @eliserebelfox

We discovered Annika walking around the eclectic Schoneberg district of Berlin. It is filled with cafe-lined streets, quirky galleries and Turkish eateries and is home to a diverse community. We were struck by Annika's chessboard top which echoed the cobblestoned pavement. There was something retro in her look, like a Fassbinder muse, she exuded mystery. Annika is as vibrant as the neighbourhood in which she lives. She told us that she's passionate about analogue photography and loves to design and create furniture. She's been in Berlin for four years and comes from a small village in Northern Italy that borders Austria. Her first language was German, but she had to learn Italian to attend school. Annika has many facets; we wonder what her next move will be, check-mate perhaps?! @anni_kina

We loved Samantha's jacket and pants so much that we chased her into a shop on Regent Street and asked her to come out for a photo. She very kindly obliged explaining that she was on a stopover in London through her work as an Air Steward. Samantha is from Malaysia, but her preferred places are Switzerland for its countryside and London for city life; she loves all the cafes and the great shopping here. How lucky to have worldwide access to your favourite stores! She was about to have a look around &OtherStories having already purchased some goodies from her favourite store Lazy Oaf, not an accurate description of Samantha at all! She stopped, she posed and off she flew! @samanthasammie

Jiawen is originally from Japan, now studying to be a fashion designer in London. She told us that she is influenced by the creations of Anna Sui, we can see a connection with her outfit and Anna's the playful textiles. Her skirt is by Australian brand Song for the Mute who place the utmost significance in their fabric. Their spring 18 collection 'examines the idea of exploration of oneself while acknowledging the path that one has walked upon to get to the present.' We wonder if Jiawen's journey from Japan to London will influence the creative process in her future collections? @_19j2

Martina and Davide moved from Italy to London three years ago. Even amongst the floral intensity of Columbia Road flower market, they were hard to miss in their mix of patterns and textures. They may not be natives, but it didn't take them long to get the East London look, especially in that Ganni coat! Martina told us that she works for Selfridges in their e-commerce department, and Davide is an engineer. But they also design and create some of their clothes telling us, 'we believe that fashion is a way to express ones' individuality, we love hunting for fabrics, in particular from homeware stores and we love to think that we are the only ones wearing the pieces we created!' Edward de Bono said, 'creativity involves breaking out of established patterns to look at things differently', and yet, Martina and Davide express their creativity by being in them! @martonaghia

We spotted Diane on the streets of Paris; she was glad to receive recognition for her style sense! And she took some time out to discuss her love of fashion and her work as a designer and fashion buyer in her home city, Taiwan. She was an exercise in oversize dressing, from her houndstooth men's coat by Raf Simmon's, to the extended cuffs of her Cheap Monday sweater and her wide-leg jeans. All this tempered by the feminine bag by Boyy. Like the film by French director Jean-Luc Godard, she is 'Masculin Féminin' perfection! @diane_wenwen
