At City Hall Park Marie's contrasting tulle skirt and leather jacket caught our eye, along with the Rebecca Minkoff pearl-studded biker boots that lent her look edgy femininity. She was visiting from Berlin and had just walked across Brooklyn Bridge where the wind stole her hat! Marie was staying in a hotel in Central Park but had ventured downtown to see the sights. Rumi said, of loss, 'don't grieve anything you lose comes around in another form', maybe Marie will find it up in the shops of Soho! @marie_theres_marie

Whether in high street or designer clothes Romane likes outfits with a sheen! She was wearing H&M PVC trousers and a jacket by the innovative André Courrèges who was renowned for his use of technology in new fabrics. It's perhaps not the outfit you'd expect to see on a student of Business and Management, though she's definitely in command of her look! Romane regularly attends fashion weeks and loves Paris for its open-minded attitude, she told us, 'it's a moving city, and I like to be on the move.' Conrad Hall said 'you are always a student, never a master, you have to keep moving forward, it strikes us that Romane's style reflects her dynamic attitude - the future looks bright! @xdarkmoon

Helena's self-designed coat couldn't fail to grab our attention on the streets of Copenhagen. She's an up-and-coming designer who loves to incorporate humour, colour and fun into her pieces. But there is also an important message in there; this coat, for instance, is patterned with an abstract body image, to show a different perspective on this crucial topic, it's a shout out to the normalisation of sexuality. Jess C. Scott said, “The human body is the best work of art.” Even by covering up in her beautiful coat, Helena is proving this point perfectly! @helenafananda

We couldn't miss Ande's pink jacket and check trouser combo from Bershka. She was taking a break from her job as a personal shopping assistant at Topshop. Ande lives in Soho, and she told us that no matter where she goes, whether out for the eve of just for a coffee, she has to be dressed to the nines. The number nine has long been used as a superlative, dating back hundreds of years from the Nine Worthies who included Ceasar and King Arthur, the Nine Muses of Arts to text in the poems of Robert Burns. We wonder if by dressing to impress Ande is aware that she is in such grand company! @andesabo12

We love Holly's mix of patterns and brights. Her wardrobe is in rewind; from her thrift store finds to her 90's music video style inspiration - but then she presses fast forward to current catwalk trends. She's well-placed in her role as a fashion and lifestyle publicist. She takes no time to get ready each morning, telling us she throws things on but her favourite brands are throwbacks; nostalgic sportswear brands such as Fila and Umbro. If we had to put our finger on one-word that defines her style, we would press play! @hollyfarrellk

This Australian knows what she likes. Orawan loves her new life in New York City, even though she admits liking Soho more than Williamsburgh where she actually lives. She considers Soho more upscale, while Brooklyn is too vintage. Clearly, she’s in the posh urban chic space, which is obvious from her choice of pink puffa by an upcoming Korean designer. Orawan was on her way to do some shopping in Soho, by far her favourite place to shop. She’s a big fan of the City, its eclectic food, its fashionable people and above all the energy. We agree! She works in e-commerce, travels often and loves animals. Anyone who loves animals is a friend of ours. We coincide with Orawan and with famous French writer Anatole France who once said: “Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened." @orilim__

Danielle’s sherbet bright jacket popped as she headed back to the office on East Castle Street. She explained that she is currently a design assistant for a fashion company but eventually wants to start up her own label. Her style icons are Olivia Palermo, Sienna Miller and Gigi. She loves 60’s looks and anything glamorous. Apart from her Pandora bracelet, all of her jewellery is from Tiffany because her boyfriend works there. Lucky girl, so Holly Golightly!

A proud resident of the East Village, Anne feels honoured to be part of the community. She told us she moved to this downtown neighbourhood a while back when drug dealers and prostitutes roamed the streets. It has changed a lot, "now is very different," she says. However, the creative spirit has prevailed thanks to its art community. Anne has attitude and style, she loves people, music, culture and to be out in the street mingling with others. She told us she couldn’t live in other American cities where life is experienced from the safety of a car window. She is originally from Buffalo and works as a sales rep in a company that deals with interior designers. She’s also created a series of autobiographic short films that are currently part of the Filmmakers Coop. We are sure anything Anne creates must be as entertaining as her personality! @annehanavan

Here we have Soyoung and Lesley who met and bonded since the first day of school and now in their final year have become inseparable friends. “One loyal friend is worth ten thousand relatives,” said ancient Euripides and we agree! Nothing better than a dear friend, especially when they share tastes and passions. The two friends are completing their BA in Womenswear at CSM. They are currently creating their final collections. They confessed that they prefer to shop and collect fashionable garments rather than making them. They love London’s night scene, clubbing and flat parties. And now we can clearly see why they love collecting fashionable clothes.
