Paris J’adore
Model and fashion student Alexia lives in New York where we captured her, and like that, she struck a pose for us. She’s originally from Brazil, but her real love is Paris. ‘Most of my inspiration when it comes to styling I've taken from Paris, the city I most love, she said. ‘I also speak French.’ We agree she is très chic in her Gloria Coehlo flares and that classic coat by A.P.C. She also explained that she is passionate about art and of course fashion. We can picture her strolling down Rue Saint Honoré! Victor Hugo felt the same way about the city of love; he said, “He who contemplates the depths of Paris is seized with vertigo, nothing is more fantastic, nothing is more tragic, nothing is more sublime.” For now, Alexia may have an abode in the lower east side but she'll always have Paris! @alexiabellini

Dressing By City
We bumped into Chieko on Brick Lane; we loved her distinctive two-tone style. She told us that she is from Japan and she has lived in London for the last 12 years. When it comes to careers Chieko picks places to work with perks; she works as a Japanese interpreter for Vidal Sassoon hair academy, hence the fantastic haircut - which she gets for free. She also works in a vintage shop; the latter provides bargains on all of her vintage items! When she thinks of street style, legendary photographer Bill Cunningham comes to mind. He developed fashion photography into a form cultural anthropology. She explained that she loves the ‘real’ street style that Bill captured. Chieko believes you get a lot of inspiration not just from other people on the street but nature and your environment. She said that she finds beauty in imperfection, 'young people are all about their look and looking perfect like models, but that is entirely too contrived.' Of her style, she says she likes to play with colour, but she thinks it can depend on where you live because each different city evokes a different mood. Clearly, London does not say colour! We imagine that no matter where Chieko finds herself her style would be exceptional, even shoemaker Justin Deakin (those brogues) spoke of her as a style legend of Brick Lane. Praise indeed! @kadowakian

A Flash Of Orange
Raissa's orange coat stood out in Paris. We stopped her for a chat, and she told us that she had just been shopping and eating with her sister who lives on the same street. She was thrilled to see the sunshine finally and found it fun to be stopped for an outfit that she didn't think much of, but she did explain that she just wanted something with a flash! Raissa works at a vegan restaurant called the Wine and the Moon when she's not working as a stylist and makeup artist, which explains a lot about today's look! She told us she thought she had picked the perfect coat for the season, 'that's all I have to say hahaha'. The colour orange is often associated with happiness and enthusiasm, we think this sums up Raissa perfectly. @stmylafd
