Re-engineered Tweed
We spotted Robert through the crowd; there was a sea of people dressed in their most elegant suits and dresses having just completed the annual tweed run. It's a 12-mile bicycle ride across London where tweed-lovers unite upon their favourite steed; whether a Pashley or a Penny Farthing. Robert explained that this was his 3rd year, and he loves it so much that he also decided to marshal. Tweed jackets are a big part of his style; he is a civil engineer, but he likes to dress with an individual look. He was scouting through a vintage shop and discovered that tweeds were inexpensive, the rest is history! Robert regularly works with a tailor to design and rework the pieces. We love how he incorporated his heritage using Kente, a hand-woven African material that the tailor refashioned into a bowtie and pocket square. It's cross-continental refinement!

New Beginnings
We saw Bethany’s orange dress as she walked down to South Molten street in the sunshine, and then as we approached her smile lit up the look! She told us she was from Darlington but has lived in London forever. Having worked in fashion as a buyer, Bethany decided she wanted to do something different and set up her own online store called Studio B. At the moment she is busy gathering new and exciting stock like the 'Pom Pom' shoes she was wearing. There is also a collaboration in progress with a designer called Joanna Sands for a series of dresses like the one that she was wearing and 'testing' that day. They’ll be on the site at the end of May. We wish her well in her new venture! @studio_b_fashion

Cool Aunt Ella
We approached Ella while she was taking a break from work and because we saw a girl with an intriguing personality through her outfit. She explained that she likes to break the conventional fashion rules by wearing red and pink at the same time or just reinterpreting new ways to wear the items. Ella has spent part of her childhood in Brussels due to her father's work but now her family is back in the Netherlands, and she does not seem to miss the Belgian capital, as she told us, she wants to settle down in Amsterdam and study to be a hairstylist. Both the red denim set and the retro pink boots she is wearing are from EDITED the label. We let her finish her break time and asked what she was going to do after work; she explained that she was going for drinks but first she was headed to take care of her nephews; they must think she's pretty cool! @crybbi_4life
