Giving Something Back
We saw Qenaz in beautiful Lisbon. She's a painter from Angers in northwestern France. She looked in place amongst the mosaic tiles and the artworks surrounding her on Lisbon's streets. Quenaz told us that she's a volunteer at Croix Rouge Française, the French Red Cross, she is one of 56,000 volunteers who provide humanitarian, health and social services to locals. We believe it's important to give something back, and Qenaz does that threefold, through her creativity, charity and personality. Chapeau Qenaz! @qenazyakite

Go-Faster Stripes
We caught Suo as she was stepping off of her boyfriend’s beautiful electric Vespa in Shanghai. She's studying at fashion university wearing a dress of her own design using jacquard and crushed fabric. We also loved those Fenty x Puma high sock sneakers, part of singer Rihanna's collaboration with the sports brand; now in its second year, it is continually winning acclaim from the likes of Vogue who said Rihanna's shoe designs are always a step ahead. We wonder if Suo has such forward-thinking aspirations for her design career, perhaps the go-faster stripes on those socks might help, especially on that Vespa!

Re-engineered Tweed
We spotted Robert through the crowd; there was a sea of people dressed in their most elegant suits and dresses having just completed the annual tweed run. It's a 12-mile bicycle ride across London where tweed-lovers unite upon their favourite steed; whether a Pashley or a Penny Farthing. Robert explained that this was his 3rd year, and he loves it so much that he also decided to marshal. Tweed jackets are a big part of his style; he is a civil engineer, but he likes to dress with an individual look. He was scouting through a vintage shop and discovered that tweeds were inexpensive, the rest is history! Robert regularly works with a tailor to design and rework the pieces. We love how he incorporated his heritage using Kente, a hand-woven African material that the tailor refashioned into a bowtie and pocket square. It's cross-continental refinement!
